Fall Fun

My neighbors invited us to their church Fall social last night so Austin and I went. Notice that I said Austin and I....Nick chose to stay home and watch football. You will have to give him a hard time about that! Here are some pics from our fun evening.

Stephen Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith Concert

We went to see SCC and MJS last night...they are two of our favorite Contemporary Christian artists. It is one of our hobbies that we like to do together. We went with some friends from church and had a really good time. I didn't enjoy paying the babysitter $50 but it was well worth the fun. If you attend a concert at the new Spirit Bank Center in Bixby arrive early! We were in traffic forever getting there and coming home!

Cleaning with a toddler...impossible!

Does anyone have suggestions how to clean house with a toddler running around? Here lately Austin wants to help or watch me clean everything! I have been thinking about trading off a few hours with a friend so I can watch their kids while they clean/run errands and then they could do the same for me. I have also lacked having the energy to clean my entire house here lately....this baby takes all my energy these days! Any cleaning advise is helpful...most of you know I like a clean house!

Pumpkin Patch Outing

This is our first of two trips we will make to the pumpkin patch this week. We met up with my friends from church today and next week we will be going with the pre-school. We took my nephew, Aiden as well as Austin....the boys had fun riding the tractor hay ride, pony (only Aiden was brave enough) looking at goats and picking out pumpkins. The first picture really does capture Austin's true personality, don't you think? We stuck him in a pile of pumpkins....aren't we nice?

Yeap...went to the dr. today and he said we are having a "chicky with no dicky". Those were his exact words. Nick was grinning from ear to ear but I was busy picking my chin up off the floor. Anyways, I will believe it when I see it. I just pictured a house full of boys for some reason. No name yet but will get to talking about that soon and start saving all our money!
