Flashback Friday

Summer is the time for vacations. Austin was 4 months old on this vacation and we went to Hilton Head, SC with Nick's mom, my parents and my best friend and her fiance. We have since just taken vacations by ourselves and left the kiddos at home. We are due for another Family vacation! Maybe next summer??

Austin got a new pair of Thomas the Train shoes that he wore to Thomas Live last week. They were hand me downs and they were too big. He insisted on wearing them at all times! We were eating dinner the other night and he dove face first into the oven. Here is the result.

We went to see Thomas the Train Live today. Austin has been talking about going all week so I was glad today finally came. We went with some friends from church and pre-school. They were all festive and decked out in their Thomas gear. Austin would get a little upset if Thomas had to leave the stage for a few minutes but he lived. Of coarse we had to buy the $15 spinning toy that will probably be broken tomorrow! I highly reccomend the show. We bought the cheap seats and they were really good seats!

Flashback Friday...Best Buds

I haven't done a Flashback Friday in a few weeks so here goes...

Jess and Jay are my good friends. I used to work with Jess as a social worker in Texas. She had Jefferson a day before I had Austin. We have shared every memory as mothers together. Not everyone wants to hear about your kid saying mama, rolling over, or going pee pee on the potty. The kids only get to play a few times a year but they are best buds. Here are a few pictures looking back at how they have changed.

End of the year program

We had Austin's end of the year program last week at school. The theme was God Bless America. He was in the 2 year old class this year and I taught in the 3 year old class downt he hall from his class. He loves school and has learned and grown so much this year. 3 year olds mainly cry, pick their nose or scream during a program...we got lucky and Austin just waved the entire time.
