Heading to the Hospital
I was advised to go to the Dr. yesterday to get my blood pressure checked. When I arrived my blood pressure was high and they found protein in my urine (sign of pre-eclampsia). This happened with Austin right at 38 weeks too. They sent me home to be on bed rest and watch out for headaches or dizziness. I woke up this morning with a bad headache so they want me to head to Labor and Delivery again. Nick does not know how to update the blog so if you don't hear back from me that means we stayed. Please keep us in your prayers. Vivian may be here before we know it!

High BP
I went to the Dr. last Friday and my blood pressure was a little on the high side. Since my Dr. is out of town this week he wanted me to keep an eye on it. I went to Walgreen's today to check it and it was 138/97. I called the Dr. on call and he gave me the option to go to Labor and Delivery tonight or come by the office in the morning and have it checked. I plan to rest tonight and since my neighbor let me borrow her bp kit I can take it this evening as needed. I got pre-eclampsia with Austin right around this time and delivered 2 weeks early so keep us in your prayers. I hope to keep it under check and deliver like planned on Monday.

A True Flashback Friday

Pre-school birthday party
We celebrated Austin's birthday at school today. Next week is Spring Break and the week after that Vivian will be here. The good thing is Austin really doesn't know it isn't his birthday so that is good. His birthday is actually March 24th and Vivian will be here on March 23rd. We will have his party this weekend so more pictures to come!

Future Firefighter?
Austin loves firetrucks! This weekend we are celebrating his birthday early at the fire station. I borrowed this adorable costume from a boy at church...he doesn't really know it....his mom snuck it out of the house :) Anyhow, I pulled it out for Austin to look at yesterday and he has wore it the past two days. I don't think we will have a problem getting him to wear it for his party. In fact, I might have to purchase one before this is all over. Excuse the red wind pants....it is not part of the costume, obviously.

Dad's Night Out
Kids Kare had Dad's Night Out this past week. It was Superhero theme and the kids performed 3 songs about their dad being their superhero. Here are a few pics.

Ashley's baby shower
We had my friend, Ashley's, baby shower last weekend. Ashley is my newest friend and I am so glad God has blessed us with our friendship. Our baby girls are due a week apart from each other so I can't wait for our girls to play together.
